Atlanta Boat Show

Take a break from the winter blues at one of the largest boat shows in the southeast. The Atlanta Boat Show features boats and boating goods of every kind such as fishing boats, sport cruisers, bow riders, pontoon boats, house boats, personal water craft and more.

King Week

For a week in Atlanta they celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King and his many efforts and contributions to the Civil Rights movement. During this special week in January many live performances, religious services, inspirational concerts and educational seminars occur making this honorary event exciting and educational.

February

Southeastern Flower Show

You won't want to miss the Southeastern Flower Show, Atlanta's premier horticultural event. Three acres will be filled with a variety of landscapes, floral exhibitions, garden-related merchandise, photography exhibit, books and nationally and locally known speakers.

St Patricks Parade

The luck of the Irish is sure to find you in Atlanta on St. Patrick's Day. Head downtown to join the fun with one of the longest running parades in the country, green beer, concerts, exhibits and lectures.

Atlanta Home Show

This exciting annual show features everything one could dream of when it comes to homes such as model homes, home and garden products, seminars on home improvement and arts and crafts.

Atlanta International Auto Show

Over 500 new vehicles are presented at this show from the latest in cars, vans, trucks and SUV's as well as concept cars. Special attractions include the International Auto Show for Kids, motorcycle stunt shows and celebrity appearances.

Atlanta Film Festival

For 9 days the avid film lover can plunge into the world of film making. Every type of cinema from the United States and around the world is represented here from world-renowned directors to independent filmmakers. Indulge yourself in screenings, panels and workshops around the community.

Atlanta Dogwood Festival

Celebrate the arrival of spring in Atlanta at Piedmont Park. This annual festival is filled with fun things for the entire family such as a dog Frisbee competition, kids village, rock-climbing wall and an artist market with more than 200 exhibitors.

Inman Park Festival

This annual event is a must do while in Atlanta. The event features Atalanta's biggest Street Market, arts and craft shows, the city's quirkiest parade, tour of homes, live entertainment around every corner, a dance festival and a plethora of children's activities.

Atlanta Jazz Festival

During Memorial Weekend in May, the crowds flock to various venues to see the best jazz anywhere performed by famous artists.

Sweet Auburn SpringFest

Make your way to Auburn Avenue for the largest street festival in the southeast. More than 500,000 people attend this festival each year to experience 10 stages of live performances, the Fantastic Fun Zone for the little ones, a Technology Expo, an International Craft Marketplace and the Sweet Auburn Film Festival.

Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week

Atlanta patrons can experience some of the best dining options Atlanta has to offer during this festival. Many fine eateries offer up 3-course meals for only $25 per person. Not only can patrons get a great meal they can also enjoy the art, live music and other exciting festivities.

Fantastic Fourth Celebration

Stone Mountain Park is home to a great laser show throughout the summer but on the 4th they pull out all of the stops. The park itself offers many attractions but during the Fourth of July they offer some of the most spectacular fireworks in the area.

Grant Park Summer Shade Festival

Fill your weekend with exciting attractions at Grant Park such as the Artist Market, food vendors, the Adams Realtors 5K Run for the Park, live stage performances, a children's fun center and the Corks & Forks Fine Food and Wine Event.

Little Five Points Halloween Festival & Parade

Have a spooktacular good time with children's activities, Halloween parade, costume contest, live entertainment, face painting and more.

Taste of Atlanta

At this weekend long festival, visitors can sample foods from over 80 restaurants, participate in cooking demonstrations and classes and get the little ones involved in children's activities.

November

Macys Great Tree Lighting

Macy's sponsors this popular Christmas Tree lighting ceremony, held on Lenox Square. You can enjoy holiday music, nationally-known performers and great fireworks.

December

Childrens Christmas Parade

This is the southeas's premier Holiday Parade featuring marching bands, holiday themed floats, animated floats, the biggest helium balloons around and Santa Claus.

Peach Drop

Ring in the New Year in the streets of Atlanta with live performances, the Peach Drop and Fireworks at midnight. More than a hundred thousand revelers participate in the festivities.

Georgia Renaissance Festival

April, May, June

As you step through the gates into the Kingdom you will see the King and his Court, castles, cottages, pubs, and over 150 extravagant shops with all sorts of treasures. A huge variety of tasty treats include roasted turkey legs, and visitors enjoy presentations of comedy, dancing music and jousting. The fair is held in Fairburn, GA.

Wednesday WindDown
April-September

On Wednesday evenings head down to Centennial Olympic park, home of the 1996 Olympic Games, for a free concert series accompanied by food and drink.

Piedmont Park offers a variety of productions of the Bard's plays. Live music precedes the show.

Delta Classic Chastain Concerts

During the summer months patrons gather at the Chastain Park Amphitheater to watch top performers under Atlantas's starry skies.
